AKAIA is very proud to announce that Qingdao Hai Tian Center, designed by our design team while under the Archilier brand, has just won the “Best Tall Building in Asia” award at this year’s CTBUH Tall Excellence conference in Chicago.

 

Congratulations to our client Qingdao Conson Development and many others that contributed to the success of this 5+million SF mixed-use project that transformed the skyline of the city of Qingdao. This has been an incredible team effort and would not have been possible without the talent and commitment of all involved.

 

Our President Kai Sheng and senior director Alan Lee participated in the Tall Excellence presentations for Hai Tian Center in the categories of Best Tall Building, Best Structuring Engineering and Best Construction. In addition, Akaia Director Hyun Yu also presented at the conference on New Office Experience in his presentation about office design in the future, with Hai Tian Center as a case study.
