The Huangshan Wellness Resort, situated at the base of the renowned Huangshan Mountain, is enveloped by breathtaking mountainous landscapes. Guests approach the resort via a specially crafted path, which includes crossing a new bridge over mountain streams, all set amidst dense forests. This path gradually opens up to unveil the stunning natural setting of the resort, harmoniously blending with its surroundings.  The resort's design draws inspiration from the local legend of a “Hidden Otherworldly Paradise in the Mountain” and echoes the architectural style of indigenous Anhui residential dwellings, resembling a village nestled in the valley. It thoughtfully integrates unique elements of Huangshan scenery, such as “Dramatic Pines,” “Sea of Clouds,” and “Grotesque Rocks,” making them an integral part of this ecological wellness resort, which boasts distinctive regional characteristics.

At the heart of the resort lies the main hotel, complete with public amenities. This central structure is flanked by a series of smaller buildings and villas, all aligned along a main axis, creating a layered and hierarchical architectural structure. The design pays homage to traditional Huizhou architecture, evident in its black roofs, white walls, brick carvings, and palindromic patterns, all reinterpreted in a contemporary style. The architecture melds the understated elegance of Chinese traditional painting with the simplicity and sophistication of modern design.
